All the Earth needs is this. The beauty that Mother Nature is captivates me to no end. I don’t understand why we humans feel the need to build, build, build right on top of her. She protected us and gave us what we needed before we evolved and even though she also sends us torrential downpours, lightening, earth quakes, etc…we should still respect her and love her. Earth is precious to me. It’s also precious to you, whether you realize it or not. I believe that Mother Nature will overcome what we have done to her and reclaim the earth as it should be. Perhaps we will live with her in harmony then, instead of trying to destroy and rebuild Earth as we think it should be for our benefit.
I do not believe in “god”, so please, don’t think that I am calling Mother Nature a spirit that will unleash her wrath upon human kind for the harm we’ve caused our planet. No. I just believe in the unyielding force that was on this rock long before we were.

I like your images and they certainly captures beauty in the natural world. You mention nature’s dark side, how would you capture that photographically?

You found a lot of interesting subjects in a short time (and presumably a small area). It reminds me to look around more– sometimes when I look up at the trees I’m amazed because I’m used to staring at the sidewalk.

i would waste my breath counting the ways I agree with you. backpacking, missing my colorado mountains, and the fact that I’m always saving up toward buying land to sustain off of… here here!
